La Collezione Borroni vanta un importante nucleo di opere della Scuola Mediale e della Nuova Figurazione Italiana, opere decisive e punti fermi che costituiscono un passaggio obbligato e una testimonianza fondamentale per i giovani artisti. Oltre a questo, la Collezione da qualche tempo accoglie anche giovane fotografia e importanti opere della Street Art italiana, installazioni e perfomances.La Collezione Borroni riassume trent'anni di ricerca appassionata e di scelte talora difficili o rischiose, di scommesse personali a volte vinte a volte perse.L'augurio migliore  al visitatore è quello di sentirsi più vicino a ciò che è già suo, cioè la forza della bellezza e la calma dello spirito. Come quando, in qualche viaggio, ci si ferma d'improvviso in un posto e ci sembra di riconoscerlo, di averlo sempre visto.L'artista ha questo compito: farti sapere quello che pensavi.   
GIOVANE ARTE ITALIANA
Quasi 400 opere di oltre cento artisti italiani, nella maggior parte giovani o giovanissimi:una raccolta vastissima e imponente basata sulle scelte del collezionista, convinto della sua libertà di giudizio rispetto alle mode e alle tendenze che spesso si inseguono senza solide basi. Il fascino degli ambienti ristrutturati nel massimo rispetto delle loro caratteristiche contribuisce ad aumentare l'entusiasmo di chi li visita e naturalmente è un valore aggiunto per gli eventi che spesso vi si svolgono.

SCUOLA ROMANA di Via degli Ausoni
La Collezione Borroni raccoglie quasi 100 opere fra le più belle e importanti della Scuola di via degli Ausoni, a San Lorenzo, Roma. Negli anni '80 un gruppo di giovani artisti lavorava nell'ex pastificio Cerere, cercando nuove soluzioni artistiche. In tutte le loro opere, nel periodo più importante, si ritrova un comune sentire e un uso pacato ma forte e determinato dei materiali, unito alla pazienza e alla certezza delle loro convinzioni artistiche.Un alto esempio di fiera convinzione, ripagata oggi dal grande successo cui forse manca soltanto una grande mostra antologica
Bruno Ceccobelli imprime nelle sue opere il senso di una religione assoluta, delle cose primarie, del rigore di vita.Marco Tirelli scompone e ricompone magiche architetture e dona alle forme il valore di forti entità assolute.Piero Pizzi Cannella racconta le donne, i bagni turchi, le cattedrali, come presenze - assenze della nostra memoria.Nunzio adopera i materiali umili e forti per scolpire e rilevare il tempo e la vita

SCUOLA MEDIALE
Formatasi a Torino con artisti quali Ronald Victor Kustelic, Pierluigi Pusole e Bruno Zanichelli, oltre allo scultore Paolo Schmidlin a Milano,  mira attraverso l’appropriazione e l’uso dei linguaggi mass mediali (cinema, televisione, fumetto ecc..) a farci riflettere sulla manipolazione e falsificazione della realtà che questi operano quotidianamente.

The Borroni Collection boasts an important collection of works of Medial School and New Italian Figuration , works and decisive points that are a must and an essential testimony for young artists. Besides this, the collection for some time also welcomes young photography and important works of Italian street art, installations and perfomances.The Collection summarizes thirty years of passionate research and choices sometimes difficult or risky.The  best hope is that the visitor to feel closer to what is already his, that the power of beauty and calm of spirit. Once, on a few trips, we stop in one place and suddenly we seem to recognize him, that he had always visto.The artist accomplishes this: let you know what to expect.

YOUNG ITALIAN ART
Nearly 500 works by more than one hundred Italian artists, in most young or very young people make up the vast and impressive collection Borroni.Una collection based on the choices of the collector, convinced of his freedom of judgment with respect to the fashions and trends that often pursue without a solid foundation . The charm of the renovated with the utmost respect for their contribution to increase the enthusiasm of those who visit them, and of course, is a value-added events that often occur there.

THE ROMAN SCHOOL  of Via Ausoni
The Borroni Collection collects nearly 100 works of the most beautiful and important of the school because of Ausoni, San Lorenzo, Rome. In the 80s a group of young artists working in the former pasta factory Ceres, looking for new artistic solutions. In all their works, the most important period, we find a common feeling and a quiet but strong and determined use of materials, combined with the patience and the certainty of their convictions artistiche.Un great example of fair conviction, now rewarded by the great success which may be lacking only a major retrospectiveCeccobelli Bruno gives his works a sense of absolute religion, the primary things, the rigor of life.Marco Tirelli deconstructs and reassembles magical architecture and gives shape to the value of strong absolutes.Piero Pizzi Cannella tells women, Turkish baths, the cathedrals, as attendances - absences of our memory.Nunzio uses humble materials and strong for sculpting and detect the time and life

THE MEDIAL SCHOOL
Formed in Turin with artists such as Ronald Victor Kustelic, Pierluigi Bruno Zanichelli Pusole and, in addition to the sculptor Paolo Schmidlin in Milan, sighting through the appropriation and use of language mass media (cinema, television, comics, etc. ..) to make us think on the manipulation and falsification of the reality that those who work daily.
